In october 2016 Jacob is in the area of Transkei to control our running projects when Selina asked him to meet the community of Luqolweni, an isolated village, 15 kilometers from Sidabadabeni. The community wants a préschool but money and knowledge lack. 

Together with the Chief, the headman and some locals JAcob made a plan to start the building of Luqolweni's first school ever. The design is made, the community provided a piece of land and contracts were signed. Obonto will finance the building materials and the motivated locals start building, only two weeks after they already started! A huge example of hów we cooperate with the local community and anticipate to local needs.

Im March 2018 we return to Luqolweni. The school is almost ready for the opening ceremony. We are very proud of Biza and Mr. Machese who took the lead in this process. Mr. Machese's wife, at that moment teaching in a little church, will be the new teacher. She started the Montessori education. Our Montessori network is axpanding.

In 2019 there are some problems in Luqolweni. There is an issue in who the teacher of Ubuntu préschool should be. We advised the community, via Selina, to solve this problem before we step back in.
